Zaria has a master’s degree in physiotherapy from Iran and worked as a physiotherapist for 8 years in her hometown, Shiraz. After moving to Canada, she shifted her focus to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Traditional Chinese medicine views the body as a connected system, considering physical, emotional, and environmental factors. Instead of treating symptoms alone, TCM looks at energy flow (Qi), yin-yang balance, and the five elements. Using acupuncture, herbs, and dietary changes, TCM focuses on restoring balance and promoting long-term health.

Zaria’s goal is to identify the root causes of her patients’ health concerns, provide treatment, and restore balance to the body. She tailors her treatments to each patient using techniques such as acupuncture, herbal medicine formulas, cupping, bloodletting, guasha, and tuina massage.

Her primary areas of interest include:

Women’s health: Menstruation issues, menopause, infertility, miscarriages, ovarian and uterine cysts, and breast health.

Pain management: Musculoskeletal pain, joint pain, digestive issues, weight management, stress, insomnia, fatigue, and memory problems.

Beauty and skin concerns: Facial rejuvenation, double chin reduction, wrinkle removal (laugh lines, frown lines, crow’s feet), dark circles, puffy eyes, eyebrow and eyelid lifting, hyperpigmentation (chloasma/melasma), cheek highlighting, stretch mark reduction, acne scars, hair loss, skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea (treated with herbal medicine and acupuncture).
