Samuel Widjaja, Occupational Therapist

Samuel completed his Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia and went on to complete his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen’s University.

Samuel has a keen interest in working with the geriatric population and is currently working in a long-term care home in Vancouver. He is passionate about providing a restorative care approach to promote optimal function and engagement in the activities of daily living of long-term care residents. Samuel is focused on continuing education in seating/mobility assessments, falls prevention, cognitive assessments and re-training, splinting and pressure wound management to better support his client population.
Outside of work, Samuel is an avid traveller and always seeking opportunities to experience different cultures, customs and cuisines. He enjoys an active lifestyle through sports and outdoor activities including basketball, soccer, snowboarding, and hiking.
