Luke Warner - Physiotherapy

Luke holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley and a Master’s of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Essex. He is registered as both a Physiotherapist and a Kinesiologist in British Columbia.

 

He has a strong background in strength and conditioning and specializes in active rehabilitation and exercise prescription. Luke has worked with numerous athletes, including national-level powerlifters in the United Kingdom, varsity soccer athletes at the University of the Fraser Valley and BC rugby players.

 

During his Physiotherapy degree, he had the opportunity to collaborate with lecturers and researchers from the University of Essex, looking at the effectiveness of exercise for treating patellar tendinopathy. He believes that physical activity and exercise are important for promoting recovery and enabling his patients to become stronger, healthier and pain-free.

 

Outside of work, Luke has competed nationally for powerlifting at the British Open, enjoys rugby, basketball and hiking.
