How do I check a physiotherapist’s qualifications?
Physiotherapists in BC are licensed by the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. You can check a practitioner’s licence in the College’s public registry.
Do I need a referral?
Contact the clinic to ask about booking an assessment. Check your insurance plan before your visit, as your insurer may require a referral for reimbursement.
Where can I book an appointment?
Choose Sunwood Square in Coquitlam, Marine Drive, or Central Lonsdale in North Vancouver. For treatment at home, check our mobile service areas and call to confirm availability.
Can you bill my insurance directly?
Direct billing is available for many extended health plans. Contact the clinic with your insurer and plan details to check whether we can bill your primary plan.
What will my insurance cover?
Coverage depends on your plan, the service, and your remaining benefits. Check with your insurer before booking. You will need to pay any amount the plan does not cover.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cheque, debit, and major credit cards. Ask the clinic about direct billing for your extended health plan.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Bring your insurance details and relevant medical or rehabilitation information. Your practitioner will ask about your symptoms, health history, and goals, then discuss the assessment and treatment plan.
How long is an appointment?
Appointment length depends on the service and whether you are booking an initial assessment or a follow-up. Check the appointment duration in the booking schedule and on our pricing page.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that lets you move and allows your practitioner to assess the area you want help with.
How many visits will I need?
Your practitioner will discuss recommended appointments after your assessment. The plan can change based on your goals and response to treatment.
