How long is an initial Occupation Therapy assessment? How long is a follow-up?
The initial occupational therapy session is approximately 65 – 90 minutes. The follow-up sessions are generally 50 minutes, with about 10 minutes for clinician charting, at the end.
What should I prepare for my first appointment?
Make sure to bring any copies of reports from medical professionals (Psychologists or Psychiatrists, Physiotherapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, or previous Occupational Therapists).
