Zori Kaneva, MScOT
Zori Kaneva is a registered Occupational Therapist working in long-term and acute care settings in the lower mainland. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Victoria and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta.
Zori has been working in the public and private sectors in British Columbia. The majority of her clinical expertise has been in acute care and long term care with emphasis on discharge planning, seating and mobility, and wound management. She has a passion for helping improve the lives of others through meaningful activities. Furthermore, she strives to engage her clients in their own care regardless of their age and abilities. In addition, Zori strives to educate her clients and teams on the benefits of using evidence-based practices.
Zori has completed continuing education in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused brief therapy, as well as brain injury, wheelchair prescription and wound management. In addition, Zori is fluent in Bulgarian and Russian and always eager to learn a new language. While Zori is not working you can find her running, biking, hiking, volunteering or spending time with friends and family.
