What is Functional Medicine?

Functional medicine is an evolution in the practice of medicine that better addresses the healthcare needs of the 21st century. By shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach, functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.

The core philosophy

Traditional medicine often treats one area of the overall problem and rarely leads to long-term relief, vibrancy and well-being. Functional Medicine identifies and treats the underlying root causes and has a much greater chance of resolving a patient’s health challenge. We firmly believe that Lifestyle management will be the new medicine of the future, as far as modern day diseases are concerned.
