Mobile and At-home physiotherapy treatments bring all the benefits of an in-clinic visit to wherever you are. You can choose to use the Mobile Wellness Clinic in your office, at your home, or anywhere else you feel comfortable with.
Mobile physiotherapy treatment rates are $120 dollars for a forty-five-minute session.
Physiotherapy Cost With MSP Premium Assistance
If you are a Medical Services Plan (MSP) beneficiary with premium assistance you are entitled to ten visits as a combined annual limit for the following services. Each visit with MSP premium assistance has a physiotherapy cost of $23 dollars.
- Acupuncture sessions
- Physiotherapy sessions
- Non-surgical podiatry
- Massage therapy sessions
- Chiropractic sessions
Extended Health Care Benefits
Most extended health plans will provide some coverage for the cost of physiotherapy. These are also sometimes referred to as major medical benefits.

No Charge for Physiotherapy Treatments
If you had your surgery at UBC Hospital through Vancouver Coastal Health, the cost of physiotherapy treatments below will not be the responsibility of the patient.
- Knee replacements – up to twelve sessions covered
- Hip replacements – up to three sessions covered
Be aware that if the surgery was performed somewhere other than UBC Hospital, the above does not apply.
